As an Associate Director, Customer Strategy (Renal TA), in Wilmington, DE, you'll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives.

The Associate Director contributes to the development and execution of the Customer Strategy Team to help and support the launch of a new product and growth of an existing product through focusing on key partnerships and engagement activities with Key External Experts (KEEs) as AZ becomes a leader in Renal market.

What you'll do
  • Support development of resources used by the Regional Customer Strategy Directors during KEE engagements
  • 360 Database management - ensure KEE engagements are tracked, updated appropriately and action items are followed up appropriately
  • Lead and Manage Senior Leader Engagement Strategy- coordinating and following up on engagements to strengthen our relationships with top KEEs and senior leaders
  • Create and Support engagement plans w/ key Strategic partners, Nephrology Group Practices, Hematologists, and Dialysis KEEs.
  • Support marketing teams in identification and coordination of Steering Committees to inform and identify strategic opportunities
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal partners: Sales, Brand Team, Market Access, and Medical Affairs
  • Work with external agencies in developing plans and resources to support KEE engagements (virtual & face-to-face)
  • Support AZ thought leader engagements at National and Regional congresses
  • Track and maintain budget for Customer Strategy Team

Essential for the role
  • 5 years of Pharmaceutical or Healthcare experience
  • Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Business, Marketing, or the Sciences
  • 3 years of Pharmaceutical Marketing and Promotions experience
  • Leadership experience and team management skills
  • Experience developing strategy and executing against it
  • Experience leading complex projects at the project management level
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to assess and get results
  • Successful project management experience with the ability to work with cross functional partners

Desirable for the role
  • Experience in HCP Marketing and/or Customer Strategy
  • Experience related to therapeutic area
